Attachments and files

How attachments are added, stored, and kept with the work they belong to.

Adding an attachment#

Attach a file to a conversation or a task and Horon keeps it with that work. The original stays on your disk where you had it.

Large files are read in place rather than copied around.

Where attachments live#

Attachments are kept with the work they were added to. The public website has no sharing controls yet, so nothing else sees them.

Removing an attachment from a workspace does not delete the file on disk.

Supported files#

Horon reads the common document, image, and text formats you already keep. If a file is in a format it cannot read, it says so instead of guessing.

You can point a request at a single attachment or at a whole folder.
